Spending their time in Brighton and London, The Brothers have saught to close this gap in the market, by offering a quality interaction and visual design service specific to the mobile platform.
Though both have a background away from conventional design - Antony studied ants, bees and termites, and Jerome focused upon units of happiness as an economist. Ergo, it made perfect sense that both naturally came together to form ribot.
Antony spent his early years with London-based Tomato, during which, amongst other things, he earnt a D&AD pencil award for his work on a interactive project for Levis.
Prior to ribot, Antony worked for three years as J2ME developer and lead designer for Brighton mobile outfit Future Platforms, headed by the honourable Tom Hume.
Following Economics, Jerome was lucky enough to secure a fantastic job at Studio Tonne in 2005, as an interactive designer / developer, where he meddled with music, design and flash-based physical projects, and had a fantastic time in the process.
A multi-talented designer with his fingers in a plethora of pies, Jerome runs ribot's main office in Brighton.
Jonathan joined in 2008 to aid in the creation of increasingly-usable mobile interfaces, by applying the latest research in usability, interaction design and user testing principles. He proudly represents ribot’s further expansion into key considerations for mobile interface design.
Involved in the rapid prototyping and early development of user interfaces, Jonathan ensures unparalleled levels of usability in all projects at ribot. Jonathan’s passions also include interpersonal and technological psychology, cognitive science and raspberry coulis.
If the visual design is the painting of the river, then the interaction design is the flow of its water.
